Statistics about visitors to an OctEportal™ website are collected by third party organisations. There are 2 (see below) you can use at the moment and we will add more as required.
Page or Site wide statistics
You can enter settings to be used for the whole website or for individual pages, or a combination or both. If you leave the Statistics settings for a page blank the Site Settings will be used.
Disabling statistics
Statistics are always disabled for all Admin pages (e.g. Page and Site Settings or the Login Page).
You can temporarily disable statistics from the whole website or on particular pages by checking No Statistics.
Configuring Statistics
Before you can use these services you must first register with the organisation. They will provide a short piece of script which you paste into the Site or Page Settings.

The above section appears in both Site Settings and Page Settings.
Entering the details in Site Settings configures the statistics for the whole website.
Entering the details in Page Settings whole over-ride the statistics for that page only.
No Statistics: Check this box to (temporarily) disable the statistics. The Provider and Code will be retained so you can easily re-enable the statistics later.
Provider: Select the provider you are using from the drop down list.
Code: Paste the code you have been given by the Provider in here.
